From October 2014 to August 2015, I created profiles of 11 different nonprofits in the Kansas City area by interviewing their founders, staff members, volunteers, and/or community members. My goal was to collect the stories of each ministry – to get a behind-the-scenes view, if you will, of the heart of the ministry and what it was accomplishing in the city.
