Used
I want to have a heart split wide open to the world
to give a listening ear offer a willing hand speak a kind word
to help with no thought of the bother to me
but
I am afraid
afraid of giving too much of losing my time
to rest to redeem those rushed minutes of everyday
afraid of being asked to work beyond my abilities or desires
but
then I hear
are you so afraid of someone using you
that you won’t let yourself be used by Me?
